Gather Tools and Materials

Now, you should be able to get to the class and remove it. If it’s cracked, be careful because it could be sharp. Make sure that you get rid of all of the pieces.
Install New Glass
The ability to repair the current glass will depend on how big the crack was. But in general, you’ll likely have to replace it with a new piece of glass. You can keep the original door frame though.
To install the new glass, you will need something to rest it on, like sawhorses. You can then put the outer frame with the glass over the sawhorses.
To make sure that you install it correctly, make sure that the temper stamp is on the bottom of the door. Lay the door over the glass, being careful not to break the glass.
Now, you can take your wooden stops and small nails that you saved from the last door and put them in place to fasten the wood stops.
